Short biography

Marco Alamia is a self-taught programmer who start to study computer science due to his passion for video games. After a few years he gets into an italian amateur team where he worked as programmer and graphic artist. Unfortunately the team die an year later because of the departure of some elements so Marco Alamia looks out for a new team to work with.

After no long he meets Parsec, an old member of the italian demoscene and they both start developing games under the Alien Game Labs label.
In 2006 the duo, with the collaboration of a few other people, release Pool-O-Matic, a futuristic billiard game.

In order to use the new Engine that Marco Alamia was working out, the Alien Game Labs team decided to develop a real time strategy game named Orbital. After few years the game was almost ready for being released as a beta version when Marco's university duties growed up preventing him from working any more on the project. In fact the thesis' work required Marco's energies on a new engine capable of animation, motion capture and more. Because of this a new engine arose from the ash of Zenith, it's name is Psyche.

Currently Marco Alamia has finished with his thesis work and is looking forward for a job in the industry.
